AVOCADO STANDARD ROOM - upgraded with a private shower and a new design

The elegant Avocado Standard Room shines in a new design. We have created a private room (approx. 300 sq. ft.) within the massive stonewalls beside the pool. This beautiful, comfortable room has one queen size bed, two sitting areas and a full new bath. This room is quiet and gives guests also access to private parking and the use of the pool and the outdoor kitchen.

TROPICAL CYCLONE JULIETA - 28 Aug 2013

Tropical Cyclone Julieta 28 Aug 2013 (10 photos) Tropical Cyclone Julieta hit Todos Santos 28 Aug around 10.30 p.m. without much warning with wind gusts around 75 km/hr according to the weather forecast. Many trees, light posts, electricity posts, roofs lay on the ground all round Todos Santos the day after. Compared to some damages in town, Casa Bentley suffered of little damage but a lot of mess from the trees such as Palm leaves, Cocos, Avocados, Mangos, old branches, leaves and mud from the street, plus our Hule tree lost 2 big branches in the storm.

ELECTRICITY upgraded to Safety Code 2012

Unfortunately Casa Bentley Boutique Hotel has to exceptionally close for the summer months August – October 2013. There is a new Mexican law that forces us to meet the electricity safety code 2012 or the Federal Electricity Company will cut our electricity. We are working right now on this large project to being able to remain operating and re-opening again for the coming high season. It will be impossible to rent rooms during the electricity update work in process. Our booking office will remain open. FAREWELL TO HEIDI - WELCOME NEW PANDALOVE DOG

Farewell dear Heidi !!!! 14 years, 8 months and 15 days old... an enormous age for a Rottweiler. Heidi had a very happy and good life at Casa Bentley. On Dec 07, 2012 she joined Panda in dog heaven. Welcome PandaLove She joins our dog family in June 2013. Pandalove is still very playful and friendly.

KITCHEN upgraded

Casa Bentley's outdoor kitchen received a fresh up and a new stove (not on the photo yet). Enjoy your meal on the new dishes or a glass of Baja Wine in the new wine glasses. WHALE SHARKS visiting La Paz annually SEP-MAR

The Whale Shark is a slow-moving filter feeding shark and the largest known extant fish species. As a filter feeder it has a capacious mouth which can be up to 1.5 meters (4.9 ft) wide and contains 10 filter pads and between 300 and 350 rows of tiny teeth. The whale shark is the largest non-cetacean animal in the world. The average size of adult whale sharks is estimated at 9.7 metros (31.82 ft) and 9 tones (20,000 lb).

Casa Bentley has finished a charming new Standard Room, called BEGONIA. Our new and cozy Begonia Standard Room (1 Queen size bed) is a new addition. We are still working on a few details outside the room. As soon as the hallway looks more presentable, we will publish the Begonia Room on our web site.
